MUMBAI, India, Aug. 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621073482 A) filed by Gokul Global University on June 12, 2026, for Automated Steaming Device.
Inventor includes Dr. Yagna B. Adhyaru.
The application for the patent was published on July 31, 2026, under issue no. 31/2026.
Abstract: An automated steaming device, comprising a housing 101 defining a vertical tower structure configured to receive a plurality of stackable steaming trays, a plurality of motorized linear actuators 103 and electromagnetic rails 104 operatively coupled with the steaming trays to enable autonomous alignment, vertical positioning, and stacking of the trays, a sensor array to continuously monitor tray position, balance, steam distribution, and thermal conditions, a food identification unit to detect food type, size, and moisture content placed on the trays, a steam generation and distribution unit to selectively regulate and pulse steam flow to individual trays, a water management unit to remove excess liquid and replenish moisture based on sensor inputs and a food doneness probing unit to physically or non-invasively assess internal food conditions including temperature, texture, electrical impedance, or density, and to generate doneness data used to automatically adjust steaming parameters and determine completion of the cooking cycle.
