Abstract: An automated slate cutting device, comprising a platform 101 positioned on a ground surface, multiple telescopically operated rods 102 arranged underneath the platform 101 supports platform 101 at a height on surface, a rotatable circular plate 103 arranged on the platform 101 positions a slate which is to be cut, an imaging unit 104 determines dimensions of slate, an expandable pulley arrangement get expanded for properly accommodating slate on plate 103, multiple motorized clippers 105 acquire a grip on slate for securing slate on plate 103, a touch interactive display panel 106 provides details regarding a desired shape or dimension in which slate is to be cut, two motorized sliding unit translate a motorized cutting blade 108 along bar, to perform cutting operation over slate, a telescopically operated L-shaped bar 110 extend/ retract for positioning a grinding blade 109 in proximity to edges of slate.
