Abstract: An automated seed planting device comprises of a body 101 having motorized wheels 102 to maneuver over an agricultural field, an imaging unit 103 to generate a 3- dimensional mapping of surroundings of the body 101, a touch interactive display panel 104 installed on the platform for user input of area selection to plant seeds, a moisture sensor embedded on at one of the wheels 102 for detecting moisture levels of soil, an electronically controlled nozzle 105 configured with a vessel 106 for spraying water onto the soil, a vertical actuator 107 mounted on the bod to drill holes in soil, a motorized iris lid 109 for dispensing seeds into the drilled holes from a chamber 108 installed on the body 101, an extendable U-shaped member arranged underneath the body 101 to apply pressure for inserting the seed in the hole.
