MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511018900 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology Deemed To-Be University; and Shobhit University, Gangoh on March 03, 2025, for Automated Railing Meandering Device.

Abstract: An automated railing meandering device, comprising a platform 1 developed to be positioned on a ground surface, motorized wheels 2 to move the surface in proximity to an installed railing/rods, artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 3 capturing images in vicinity of the body to generate a 3-dimensional mapping of the railing/rod, touch interactive display panel 4 for displaying the mapping on the panel 4 that is accessed by a user to select a portion of the railing/rod along with providing input speculations regarding a user-desired bending of the railing/rod, bar 5 by means of a hydraulically operated rod 6 for positioning the bar 5 in proximity to the selected portion, hydraulically operated links 7 for getting positioned in proximity to sections, motorized clipper 8 for securing the bar 5 on the rod and hydraulic pusher 9 for applying an appropriate pressure on the selected portion thereby providing a uniformly bended railing/rods.
