Abstract: An automated protective film layering device for door panels, comprising a housing 101 developed to be positioned on a fixed surface and carved with an inlet 102 to allow a user to insert a door panel that is to be layered with a protective film 114, in the housing 101, a touch interactive display screen 103 installed on the housing 101 that is accessed by the user to provide input command regarding, layering of the film 114 on the door panel, an imaging unit 104 having a processer, installed in the housing 101, to capture and process multiple inner surrounding images in order to detect insertion of the door panel in the housing 101 via the inlet 102, an ultrasonic sensor integrated in the housing 101 that receives command to determine dimension including length, width and thickness of the door panel.
