Abstract: An automated preservation device for plant produces, comprises of a housing 101 having an expandable support plate 102 installed in the housing 101 to receive and support plant produces, a gripping means 103 mounted on the housing 101 for securely holding the plant produce without any damage, a monitoring unit installed on the housing 101, including a hyperspectral camera 104, ripeness sensor, and odour sensor configured to detect and localize decay, spoilage, and ripeness levels, a cutting unit includes a blade 105 mounted on an articulated link 106 and an angle sensor for adjusting blade 105 orientation in real time to follow fruit contours and excise only decayed tissueinstalled in the housing 101, adapted to selectively excise deteriorated portions while preserving heathy portions, a cover application unit installed in the housing 101, adapted to dispense, stretch and conformably apply an elastic silicone cover over the processed plant produce.
