Abstract: An automated patient turning device, comprising a housing 101 positioned over a ground surface via multiple legs 102, a motorized wheel 103 installed with each of leg to provide translation to housing 101 over surface, a touch interactive display panel 104 enables a user to provide input regrading turning of a patient accommodated over top portion of housing 101, a motorized roller 105 installed with at least four edges of housing 101 and engaged with a sheet 106 that is wrapped around housing 101 and positioned beneath patient to rotate on axis in a coordinated manner to translate sheet 106 over roller 105 for initiating turning of patient, an imaging unit 107 to determine position of patient over housing 101, multiple plates 108 installed with top portion via a hydraulic link 109 that extend and retract to provide extension and retraction to plates 108 for supporting user while turning.
