Inventors include Dr. Amarpal Singh; and Rajesh Gupta.

Abstract: An automated paperboard cutting device, comprising a cuboidal housing 101 positioned over ground surface and crafted with an opening 102 over front portion accessed by user to insert a paperboard to be cut, an imaging unit 103 installed within housing 101 determines insertion of paperboard, a pair of motorized Omni- directional conveyors 105 installed over base portion of housing 101 withdraw inserted paperboard and position beneath a motorized roller 104 installed within housing 101, multiple blades 106 configured over outer periphery of roller 104 via a motorized hinge joint 107 to cut multiple slits in paperboard, a touch interactive display panel 108 mapped over housing 101 receives user input regarding design of slits to be cut, accordingly hinge joint 107 orient blades 106 at a pre-set angle in accordance to user-specified design for cutting slits in the paperboard in accordance with the user-specified design.
