Abstract: An automated paint scrubbing device for vertical bars, comprising a platform 101 positioned on ground and installed with a plate 102, a touch enabled screen 103 receives user input commands for scrubbing paint from metal bars, a camera 104 captures multiple images of bars that are displayed on screen 103, multiple motorized omnidirectional wheels 105 position platform 101 near user-selected location of bars, a scissor lift arrangement 106 configured between platform 101 and plate 102 position plate 102 near user-selected location, a motorized rack and pinion arrangement 107 configured on plate 102 and integrated with a pair of C-shaped clamps 108 each via a pantograph mechanism 109 that extend and position clamps 108 near bars for enclosing bar within clamps 108, multiple motorized pop-out balls 110 fabricated with a layer of abrasive sheet embedded on inner portion of each clamps 108 scrub paint from bars.
