Abstract: An automated paint sanding device, comprises of a platform 101 positioned over a ground surface by means of multiple motorized wheels 102 arranged beneath the platform 101, an imaging unit 103 determines 3-dimensional mapping of the vehicle, a display panel 104 mapped to select an area over the vehicle from where paint is to be sanded, an L-shaped telescopic shaft 105 to extend and position a plate 106 configured with the shaft 105 over the four wheeler, a pair of grippers 108, engaged with a sandpaper, a laser measurement sensor to monitor curvature of the user selected area, the flaps 107 are interconnected by a motorized hinge joint 109, to orient the flaps 107 to position the sandpaper in contact with surface of the user-selected area, and a motorized Whitworth’s quick return arrangement 110 to provide to and fro movement to the plate 106 for sanding the paint.
