Abstract: ABSTRACT Automated Multi-Modal Disinfection System for Medical Waste Containers The present disclosure discloses automated multi-modal disinfection system for medical waste containers (100) configured to provide intelligent waste management and comprehensive pathogen elimination. The system comprises UV-C LED arrays (102), micro-nozzle antimicrobial spray module (104), electric steam sterilization generator (106), ozone generation and ventilation unit (108), antimicrobial mechanical brushes and vacuum system (110), multi-sensor network (112), AI control unit (114), safety interlocks and emergency shutdown module (116), refrigerated compartment zones (118), expandable/collapsible compartments (120), RFID tagging and IoT connectivity module (122), power management module with UPS and energy harvesting unit (124), and user interface panel and mobile application alert module (126). The AI control unit (114) receives inputs from the multi-sensor network (112) and automatically controls a multi-stage disinfection sequence comprising ultraviolet sterilization, antimicrobial treatment, steam sterilization, ozone purification, and mechanical cleaning.
