MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511012766 A) filed by Sanskriti University on February 14, 2025, for Automated Medication Feeding Device For Birds.

Inventors include Dr. Pawan Kumar; and Dr. Ravinder Singh.

Abstract: An automated medication feeding device for birds, comprising a cuboidal expandable housing 101 positioned over a fixed surface, a lid 102 is accessed to open housing 101 and position a birds that is to be fed with medication, an imaging unit 103 determines dimensions of birds, multiple motorized drawer arrangement 104 regulate dimensions of housing 101, a motorized hinge joint 105 rotate lid 102 to close housing 101 for enclosing birds within housing 101, an cavity 106 is crafted in lid 102 to enable birds to protrude out their neck, a microphone 107 receive voice command of user regrading type of medication to be fed to birds, two robotic soft grippers 108 gently grip neck portion of birds in view of restricting movement of birds’ neck, a multi-sectioned chamber 109 stores medication tablets of various types, a robotic arm withdraw user-specified medication and insert within mouth portion of birds.
