Abstract: An automated marking device for wooden logs, comprising an inverted U-shaped body 101 positioned near a wooden log, an ultrasonic sensor detects dimensions of wooden log, a drawer arrangement 102 integrated within body 101 adjust body 101 dimensions to cover wooden log, a pair of motorized wheels 103 attached at each end of body 101 translate body 101 along surface of log, a pair of motorized rollers 105 coiled with a thread arranged on lateral inner peripheries of body 101 each equipped with a chamber 106 storing colored ink connected with an electronically controlled nozzle 107 to dispense ink onto thread, a motorized clipper 108 installed on horizontal part of body 101 hold thread for aligning thread, a motorized slider integrated between clipper 108 and body 101 translate clipper 108 and threads to move around evaluated distances for marking saturated thread over user-specified lengths.
