MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511015636 A) filed by Sanskriti University on February 22, 2025, for Automated Lint Removing Device.

Inventors include Rajiv Sharma; and Jyoti Pant.

The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.

Abstract: An automated lint removing device, comprises of a ring shaped extendable frame 101 having first and second side positioned within inner portion of inner tub of a washing machine by a user, a microphone 102 to receive voice command of the user regrading extension of the frame 101 up to particular diameter in accordance with size of clothes that are to be washed, a motorized drawer arrangement to provide appropriate extension to the frame 101 in accordance with user specified diameter, multiple motorized balls 105 installed with the first side to rotate on axis to move in contact with the clothes being washed in the inner tub to remove lint from the clothes, and a telescopic rod 106 installed in between each of the balls 105 and first side to extend in order to position the balls 105 in contact with the clothes.
