Abstract: An automated jujube fruit harvesting device comprises a platform 101 configured with multiple motorized wheels 102 to maneuver the platform 101 over a surface, an imaging unit 115 installed on the platform 101 for capturing and processing images of the surroundings to determine presence of jujube tree, a pair of C-shaped extendable members 103 installed over the platform 101 via an L-shaped telescopic rod 104, extend and place the members 103, a motorized drawer arrangement 105 integrated within the members 103 to provide sliding movement to the members 103 around the tree trunk, an electromagnets 106 attached at the ends of the members 103 to generate a magnetic field, to securely grip tree trunk, multiple telescopic links 107 extending radially outward, installed on the members 103 and configured with a meshed fabric 108, to extend, thereby deploying the meshed fabric 108 to form a canopy like-structure for collecting falling fruits.
