Abstract: Automated Hydraulic Fertilizer Injection System for Coconut Plantations ABSTRACT The present invention relates to an automated hydraulic fertilizer injection system for coconut plantations, comprising a power supply (101), voltage regulator (102), ultrasonic sensor (103), load cell (104), ESP32 microcontroller (107), relay module (108), hydraulic solenoid valve (109), servo motor driver (110), servo motor (111), hydraulic/linear actuator (113), fertilizer hopper (115), fertilizer gate (116), fertilizer dispensing unit (117), hydraulic soil penetration assembly (118), dip rod (119), penetration tip (120), and C-shaped positioning mechanism (121). The ultrasonic sensor (103) detects a coconut tree (122), while the C-shaped positioning mechanism (121) positions the injection assembly relative to the tree. The actuator (113) drives the dip rod (119) into the soil, following which the servo motor (111) opens the fertilizer gate (116) to dispense fertilizer through the dispensing unit (117). The load cell (104) measures dispensed fertilizer quantity, enabling controlled delivery, after which the dip rod (119) is retracted. The invention enables automated, accurate and repeatable below-surface fertilizer placement with reduced manual intervention. Figure-1
