MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511016998 A) filed by Sanskriti University on February 26, 2025, for Automated Hair Wig Washing Device.

Inventors include Dr. Jaipal Gangwar; and Rajesh Gupta.

Abstract: An automated hair wig washing device, comprising a housing 101 having multiple suction units 102 arranged beneath housing 101 to affix housing 101 with surface, an imaging unit 103 installed within housing 101 to determine presence of wig within housing 101, a gripper 104 installed within housing 101 to grip wig in a secured manner and positioned in a tray 105 arranged within housing 101, a chamber 106 arranged over tray 105 stored with water and cleaning agents, a display panel 107 is mapped over housing 101 to input temperature of water and type of agent by user for washing wig, an electronic nozzle 108 installed with each section of chamber 106 to dispense water and specific type of cleaning agent over wig, multiple curved links 109 configured with base portion of tray 105 by means of a lead screw arrangement to provide to and from movement to links 109.
