MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511012759 A) filed by Sanskriti University on February 14, 2025, for Automated Hair Washing And Detangling Device.

Inventors include Dr. Ravinder Singh; and Dr. Vinesh Kumar.

Abstract: An automated hair washing and detangling device, comprising an elliptical-shaped body 101 carved with a circular opening, developed to be accommodate head portion of a user, multiple circular ring form a circular frame, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 103 captures images of the user, plurality of telescopic rods 109 extend to position frame as per user’s height, a C-shaped slot 104 accommodates neck portion of the user, an ultrasonic sensor detects dimensions of user’ neck, air compressor inflates inflatable member for positioning on user’s neck, an optical sensor monitors condition of user’s scalp, plurality of electronically controlled nozzles 105 dispense hot water on user’s hair, a LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) sensor detects knot on hair of user.
