Abstract: An automated flash removing device for newly molded cans comprises of, a platform 101 positioned on a fixed surface and configured with a plurality of suction cups 102 that get adhered with surface, a touch interactive display panel 103 installed on platform 101 to provide command for removing excess material, an imaging unit detect placement of can, an ultrasonic sensor installed on platform 101 to detect dimension of can to acquire grip on can, a LiDAR module installed on platform 101 to detect excess material on can, a robotic arm 107 installed on platform 101 that is to cut excess material from can, a vacuum unit 109 installed on platform 101, to extract small sized cut materials, and a robotic gripper 111 installed on platform 101 to pick large-sized excess materials from platform 101 in successive manner and dump into chamber 110.
