Abstract: An automated filter cartridge cleaning device for swimming pool, comprising a housing 101 positioned over a ground surface, multiple omni-directional wheels 102 provide translation to housing 101 over surface, an expandable circular tray 103 accommodate filter cartridge of a swimming pool, a touch interactive display panel 104 enable a user to provide input regrading cleaning of filter cartridge, an imaging unit 105 determines positioning and dimensions of filter cartridge, a motorized expandable pulley arrangement 113 expand and retract in a manner to grip bottom portion of filter cartridge in a secured manner, a multi-sectioned chamber 106 stores cleaning agent and water, an electronic nozzle 107 by means of a robotic link 108 dispense a regulated amount of cleaning agent over filter paper of filter cartridge, an optical sensor determine presence of dirt over filter paper of filter cartridge, a robotic position a motorized brush 110 to scrub dirt.
