The application for the patent was published on June 19, 2026, under issue no. 25/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT Cardiac arrest (CA) is a significant public health issue and a leading cause of death due to poor quality or improperly administered cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Effective CPR increases the chance of survival; however, it is difficult for untrained rescuers, as well as ·medical practitioners; to-provide- adequate-chest compressions (depth, rate-and continuity)_for__ . a sustained period of time. We introduce an Automated External CPR Real-Time Feedback Device to monitor CPR quality and offer real-time feedback for the rescuer. The system uses pressure and acceleration sensors coupled with a microcontroller to monitor real-time compression depth and rate. The system provides visual and auditory real-time feedback to ensure that the rescuer is performing CPR following international resuscitation standards. The proposed system is designed to eliminate human error, enhance the quality of CPR, and increase survival rates in critical conditions. The simulation and experimental results show that the proposed system is able to sense incorrect chest compressions and guide users to perform better CPR. Due to its affordability and portability, the system can be used in emergencies and as a CPR training tool.
