Abstract: An automated edge sharpening device for metallic plates, comprising a platform 101 accessed by user to place a metallic plate to be sharpened, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 102 installed over platform 101 determines dimensions of plate, multiple robotic grippers 103 installed over platform 101 grips plate, a propane torch 104 configured with platform 101 via a secondary robotic link 105 to position torch 104 over edge of plate to heat the edge, a hydraulic hammer 106 configured with the platform 101 via an inverted L-shaped pole 107 to extend and retract in a reciprocatory manner to apply force over edge of the plate for sharpening the edge, a tertiary robotic link 108 installed over platform 101 to position a motorized disc 109 configured over tertiary link over the sharpened edge to further sharpen the edge and remove unevenness.
