Abstract: An automated earthworm collection device comprising a body 101 integrated with multiple motorized wheels 102 to move body 101 on a ground surface, a computing unit wirelessly associated with the device to input command for collecting earthworms, an imaging unit 103 installed on body 101 for detecting presence of earthworms in soil, a wedge shaped plate 104 having multiple tines arranged on the body 101 by means of a pair of motorized hinges for deploying plate 104 over surface, multiple motorized rollers 105 for collecting and transferring soil and worm inside the body 101, a frame having a strainer sheet 201 arranged inside the body 101 for accommodating soil and worms, a motorized scotch-yoke arrangement 203 arranged with the frame for providing movements for separating the earthworms from soil and an electronically controlled nozzle 106 connected to chamber 107 for dispensing water to separate earthworms from soil.
