MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511017458 A) filed by Sanskriti University on February 27, 2025, for Automated Dry Grass Patch Repairing Device For Grassland.

Inventors include Dr. Dijendra Kumar; and Dr. Vikram Singh.

The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.

Abstract: An automated dry grass patch repairing device for grassland, comprising a cuboidal housing 101 positioned over a ground surface, an imaging unit 103 installed over the housing 101 to determine presence of dry grass patch, a motorized cutter 104 configured beneath the housing 101 via a telescopic rod 105 to position the cutter 104 towards the dry grass to cut the dry grass, a multi-sectioned chamber 106 arranged within the housing 101 stored with grass seeds, fertilizer and water each having an electronic valve to dispense the seeds, fertilizer and water over the patch to aid in growing new grass, thereby repairing the grass patch, a vacuum unit 107 installed beneath the housing 101 to withdraw the cut grass and collect in a receptacle arranged within the housing 101 and a speaker 108 installed on the housing 101 to notify the user to remove the dry grass from the receptacle.
