Abstract: An automated drum handling device, comprises a rectangular platform provided with attachable means for engaging with boom arm of crane, an ultrasonic sensor embedded in platform for detecting equidistant spacing in between drums, plurality of motorized sliding units 102 arranged radially from bottom corners of platform 101 to provide translation to a hydraulically operated rod 104 towards center of platform, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 105 integrated in platform to determine depth of the drum, an inductive proximity sensor configured with platform for detecting material of drum, plurality of electromagnets 106 integrated along length of rods for engaging to drums, weight sensor for determining weight of each of drums, motorized slider 103 arranged on peripheral portion of platform 101 for translating multiple weight blocks 107, plurality of hydraulically operated L-shaped links 109 integrated on each side of platform 101 to align drums collected for maintaining equidistant arrangement.
