Abstract: An automated drip emitter installation device for irrigation pipes, comprising a platform 101 positioned on a ground surface of an agricultural field, a touch interactive display panel 102 installed on the platform 101 to provide input command to install drip emitters on a drip tube -laid on the field along gap, an imaging unit 103 integrated installed on the platform 101, to capture and process multiple surrounding images to detect location of a first point to be installed with the emitter, a pair of motorized caterpillar wheels 104 arranged underneath the platform 101 to position the platform 101 in proximity to the first point, a pair of first robotic grippers 105 installed on the platform 101, to acquire grip on the tube in proximity to the first point and place over the platform 101, a robotic link 106 installed on the platform 101 to cut a hole on the tube.
