Abstract: An automated ditch cleaning device, comprising of a platform 101 positioned on a road, an L-shaped telescopically operated rod 102 connected with a triangular shaped bucket 103 cleans the ditch, a user-interface enables the user to give input commands for cleaning of a ditch, a microcontroller processes the input commands, an imaging unit 201 captures images of the surroundings, tracked wheels 105 maneuver the platform 101, a SONAR (Sound Navigation and Ranging) module detecting depth of ditch, a motorized hinge 202 tilts the bucket 103 to orient the bucket 103 edge, a wedge-shaped extendable plate 106 removes the obstacle, a telescopically operated gripper 203 grips the obstacle, iris pores 204 opens to drain water, a weight sensor 206 detects the weight of waste.
