Abstract: The present invention relates to an Automated Crack Detection and Repair System for four-wheeler vehicles integrating multi-sensor inspection, artificial intelligence based analysis and robotic repair in a unified platform. The system includes a sensor module comprising a 3D LiDAR scanner, ultrasonic transducers and a thermal imaging unit configured to detect surface and subsurface cracks in vehicle components. Data collected from the sensors is processed by a control unit executing a convolutional neural network (CNN) model to classify crack severity and determine suitable repair strategies. A robotic repair module including a multi-axis robotic arm with a dynamic tool-changing mechanism performs automated repair operations. The system further performs post-repair validation through repeat LiDAR scanning in a closed-loop feedback mechanism. The system incorporates terahertz imaging, federated learning for AI improvement, blockchain-based documentation, and IoT connectivity for predictive maintenance and quality assurance.
