Abstract: An automated coconut husk removal and shredding device, comprises of a platform 101 having a first and second portion, plurality of suction cups 102 are arranged underneath platform 101 to adhere surface for securing platform 101, a first conveyer belt 103 arranged on first portion to accommodate coconut to be shredded, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 104 installed on platform 101 to determine density of husk, a microcontroller linked with imaging unit 104 processes determined density for detecting type of coconut, a motorized clamp 106 arranged on second portion by means of a robotic link 107 to position clamp in proximity to coconut, a laser measurement sensor embedded in clamp for measuring dimensions of coconut, a drawer arrangement integrated in clamp for increasing/decreasing dimensions of clamp, a robotic arm 111 installed on second portion for acquiring a grip of kernel, a vessel arranged on second portion for storing kernels.
