MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511023216 A) filed by Sanskriti University on March 15, 2025, for Automated Cleaning Device For Gloves.

Inventors include Dr. Sanjay Kumar; and Aishwary Awasthi.

The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.

Abstract: An automated cleaning device for gloves, comprises of a housing installed with a platform 102 installed with a pair of cylindrical units 103 via a pair of vertical links 104 for enabling a user to accommodate gloves over the cylindrical units 103, a pair of sliding units configured with the platform 102 for translating and positioning the platform 102 within the housing 101, a laser acuity sensor for detecting diameter of wrist portion of the gloves, an imaging unit mounted within the housing 101 for detecting dimensions of finger portions of the gloves, a set of electronic nozzles 109 attached with a chamber 110 installed at a ceiling portion of the housing 101 to open for dispensing the cleaning solution to remove accumulated dust/dirt from the gloves, and a set of valves 111 configured with a container 112 installed at the ceiling portion to open for rinsing the gloves.
