Abstract: An automated chimney covering device, comprising a housing 101 having an opened based to positioned on an opened top of a chimney, a plurality of suction units 102 to generate negative pressure for securing the housing 101 on the chimney, a flap 103 is hinged on an opening carved on the housing, a motorized hinge 104 to opened and allow passage of the smoke out of the chimney, a weather detection module to detect abnormal weather, a plurality of extendible slits configured with an iris mechanism to opened and allow passage of smoke out of the chimney, an air blower 105 to blow air for removing soot from inner walls of the chimney, an imaging unit 106 synced with an infrared sensor to detect presence of any bird, a buzzer 107 to deter the birds and living entities, an anemometer to detect wind speed.
