Abstract: An automated channel carving device for pipe, comprises of a housing 101 integrated with a touch interactive display panel 110 to provide input regarding carving of the channel over the pipe along with depth of the channel, an imaging unit 103 determines presence and dimensions of the pipes, an C-shaped member 105 to position one end of the pipe within the member 105, multiple curved flaps 106 each interconnected by means of a motorized hinge joints 107 to provide rotation to the flaps 106 for regulating shape of the member 105 for positioning the flaps 106 in contact with the pipe, a pneumatic pin 108 configured with the member 105 to extend and position a sharp end in contact with the pipe, and multiple motorized rollers 109 installed with particular number of the flaps 106 to rotate for enabling the sharp end to craft the channel over the pipe.
