Abstract: An automated chainsaw blade sharpening device comprising a housing 101 positioned above the ground, with an opening for users to insert chainsaw inside, an AI- based imaging unit 102 detects the presence and dimensions of the chainsaw blade, a robotic arm 103 places a motorized burr 104 against each spike of the blade sequentially for sharpening the edges, a pair of telescopic rods 105 each installed over ceiling and bottom portion of the housing 101 to position a motorized roller 106 in contact with each side of the blade to rotate on axis in opposite direction to provide rotation to the blade for enabling the burr 104 to sharpen entire edge of the blade, a magneto inductive sensor installed within the housing 101 to monitor sharpness of the blade for appropriate sharpening of the blade.
