Abstract: An automated ceiling sanding device, comprising a platform 101 positioned on a ground surface installed with a plate 102 via a scissor lift arrangement 103, the plate 102 is attached with a chamber 104 stored with sanding discs of various grades, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 105 mounted on the plate 102 for detecting exact location of edges of the ceiling, a robotic arm 106 assembled on the plate 102 equipped with a body installed with plurality of motorized rotatable members 107, a telescopically operated gripper 108 configured with plate 102 accesses the chamber 104 to grip the discs of suitable grade and engage the discs with the members 107, plurality of motorized sliders configured between the body and members 107 to provide to-and-fro motion to the members 107 in synchronization with actuation of the members 107 to rotate for sanding the edge via the discs.
