Abstract: An automated carpet installation device, comprises of a cuboidal body 101 developed to be positioned on a ground surface, plurality of motorized wheels 102 arranged underneath body 101 to maneuver body 101 over surface, a touch interactive display panel 103 installed on body 101 to provide input specifications regarding laying of a carpet, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 104 integrated in body 101 to generate a 3-dimensional mapping of surroundings, a robotic arm 105 installed on body 101 to acquire grip of ends of carpet for unfolding carpet, a motorized cutter 106 installed with body 101 by means of a robotic link 107 for trimming the portions, an electronically controlled nozzle 108 configured with a chamber 109 storing an adhesive liquid to dispense adhesive liquid onto edges, a motorized roller 111 arranged with an extendable bar for applying optimum pressure onto edges to properly affix the edges with the surface.
