Abstract: An automated brake disc lips maintenance device, comprises of a cuboidal body 101 that moves over a ground surface, integrated with a four-wheeler vehicle, a microphone 103 on the body 101 receives voice commands from the user regarding the maintenance of the vehicle's brake disc lips, an AI-based imaging unit 104 detects wheel dimensions, while a telescopically operated link 105 positions a circular plate 106 attached to the body 101 via a pneumatic rod 107, plate 106 features multiple hollow cylindrical members 108 around its perimeter, a motorized circular slider 115 adjusts members 108 positioning in relation to the lug nuts, an expandable pulley mechanism 109 inside each member’s contracts or expands, and the rod 107 engages the members 108 with the lug nuts, a first robotic link 110, equipped with a scraper 111 as an end-effector, removes rust, dust, and lip from the brake disc, a second robotic link 112, integrated with a vacuum attachment 113, handles and places objects like wheels 102 and brake calliper’s.
