MUMBAI, India, Oct. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531028686 A) filed by Arka Jain University, Jharkhand on March 26, 2025, for Automated Binder Mixture Application Device For Tiles.

Inventor includes Shashi Bhushan Singh.

The application for the patent was published on October 02, 2026, under issue no. 40/2026.

Abstract: An automated binder mixture application device for tiles designed to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of tile installation, featuring a platform 101 with a motorized conveyor belt 102 for easy tile placement, a multi-sectioned chamber 103 for storing construction materials connected to a mixing container 104, and a touch interactive display for user-defined binder application patterns, equipped with an ultrasonic sensor to measure tile dimensions, enabling a microcontroller to calculate the optimal material quantities and dispense them using motorized iris lids, the binder mixture is then mixed with a motorized stirrer and monitored for viscosity, once ready, an electronically controlled valve 107 dispenses it onto the tile, while a pneumatic frame 108 creates horizontal patterns for improved adhesion, additional features include weight sensors for precise material control, a motorized sliding unit 110 for pattern adjustment.
