Abstract: An automated banana harvesting device comprises a platform 1 positioned on a ground surface grown with banana trees, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 2 mounted on the platform 1 detecting exact location of the trees, plurality of motorized omnidirectional wheels 3 configured underneath the platform 1 for maneuvering the platform 1 , a plate 4 installed over the platform 1 via plurality of telescopically operated rods 5 for positioning the plate 4 in proximity to the bunch, a pair of telescopically operated grippers 6 arranged on the plate 4 for gripping the bunch, a robotic arm 7 installed on the plate 4 for positioning the members 8 in contact with branch of the bunch, a pneumatic blade 9 installed with one of the members 8 in view of cutting the branch, and a weight sensor embedded within the container for detecting weight of the bunch.
