Abstract: An automated anklet fastening device comprises, a platform 101 positioned over a fixed surface by means of plurality of suction units 102 arranged beneath the surface, an extendable footrest 103 attached over the platform 101 in a inclined manner that is accessed by a user to position a foot of the user over the footrest 103 over which an anklet is to be fastened, an imaging unit 104 installed over the platform 101 and integrated with a processor for capturing and processing images of the foot, based on which, a microcontroller linked with the processor determines presence and length of the foot, a motorized drawer arrangement 201 integrated in the footrest 103 to provide extension to the footrest 103 in accordance to the detected length, a microphone 105 installed over the platform 101 to receive voice command of the user regarding type of anklet to be fasten around the foot.
