Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention relates to an automated aerial fire detection and suppression system using an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). The system comprises a monitoring camera, an image processing-based fire detection module, a wireless communication module, an autonomous UAV, and a fire suppression mechanism. A CCTV or surveillance camera continuously monitors an environment and detects fire using artificial intelligence or image processing techniques. Upon detection, fire location coordinates are transmitted to the UAV through GSM or IoT communication. The UAV autonomously navigates to the detected fire location using GPS-based navigation and verifies the fire using onboard sensors or cameras. Upon confirmation, a relay-controlled pump system releases water or fire-retardant agent onto the fire source. The invention provides rapid fire detection and suppression while minimizing response time and reducing risks to human firefighters. The system is suitable for industrial facilities, forests, warehouses, high-rise buildings, and disaster-affected environments.
