MUMBAI, India, June 19 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441094656 A) filed by D. Atchayaalakshmi; and B. A. Jishnu on December 02, 2024, for Autism Disease Prediction Using Deep Learning.
Inventors include D. Atchayaalakshmi; and B. A. Jishnu.
The application for the patent was published on June 05, 2026, under issue no. 23/2026.
Abstract: Early diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is crucial for effective intervention and support, as it significantly influences developmental outcomes for affected children. This project aims to develop an advanced predictive model for early ASD detection using deep learning techniques that analyze both image and audio data. The dataset consists of images and audio recordings of young children, which provides valuable insights into behavioral and communicative patterns associated with autism. The Inception V3 model is utilized for image processing and feature extraction, while audio analysis is employed to capture vocal characteristics and nuances. A user-friendly web interface enables users to submit either an image or an audio clip for prediction, allowing for flexible input options. By integrating these two modalities, this project enhances the accuracy and reliability of autism predictions, highlighting the potential of machine learning in facilitating early detection and timely intervention for children at risk of ASD.
