The request includes a public key which is associated with a secret key for determining a first session key for the apparatus to protect the session, and is for determining a second session key for the network entity to protect the session. The apparatus receives, from the network entity, a response to the request. The response includes cipher text information determined based on the public key. The apparatus determines the first session key at least based on the cipher text information and the secret key.
