Abstract: The rapid advancement of digital technologies has transformed educational practices, yet traditional teaching methods and conventional e-learning platforms often fail to provide sufficient interactivity and conceptual clarity, particularly for complex and abstract subjects. Augmented Reality (AR) has emerged as a powerful technology capable of enhancing learning experiences by overlaying digital information onto the physical world. This project presents an Augmented Reality–based educational platform designed to improve learner engagement, conceptual understanding, and knowledge retention through immersive and interactive learning environments. The proposed system integrates virtual three-dimensional models, animations, instructional videos, and simulations with real-world educational settings using AR-enabled devices such as smartphones, tablets, and head-mounted displays. By blending digital content with physical learning materials, the platform enables students to visualize and interact with complex concepts in real time. This approach is particularly effective for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education, where abstract theories and spatial relationships are often difficult to comprehend using static textbooks or two-dimensional diagrams. The system employs computer vision, spatial tracking, and object recognition techniques to accurately detect physical objects or markers and align virtual content accordingly. This ensures precise placement and stable rendering of augmented elements within the user’s environment, even during movement. Learners can interact with the augmented content through touch, gestures, or device motion, allowing them to explore structures, processes, and simulations in an intuitive and hands-on manner. An educator-oriented content management and authoring framework is incorporated into the platform, enabling instructors to design, customize, and deploy AR learning modules without requiring advanced technical expertise. The system supports curriculum alignment, personalized learning paths, and adaptive content delivery based on learner performance and engagement levels. Assessment tools and feedback mechanisms are integrated to monitor learning outcomes and provide data-driven insights for both learners and educators. The proposed platform is designed to be scalable and cost-effective, utilizing commonly available mobile devices to facilitate widespread adoption across classrooms, laboratories, and remote learning environments. Its modular architecture allows easy expansion to include additional subjects, interactive modules, and collaborative learning features. By fostering experiential learning and active participation, the system bridges the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world application. Overall, this project demonstrates the potential of Augmented Reality as a transformative educational tool that enhances teaching effectiveness and learner engagement. The proposed AR-based educational platform offers an innovative, interactive, and future-ready solution that supports modern pedagogical approaches and contributes to the advancement of digital education systems.
