Abstract: Disclosed is an augmented-reality legal assistance system for preparation of a first information report. The system comprises an augmented reality headset and a server communicatively coupled with the augmented reality headset. The augmented reality headset comprises an audio input device, a visual display, and a gesture input device for receiving a spoken incident description and user selection inputs. The server receives the spoken incident description and complaint-related data, validates the complaint-related data for completeness, identity duplication, and offence-related consistency, converts the spoken incident description into a legal query, generates a query embedding, retrieves statutory legal provisions from a legal corpus database storing statutory legal text as vector embeddings, generates a legal analysis and a structured first information report preparation summary, determines filing guidance, and causes the visual display to render augmented visual guidance including prompts, statutory provisions, rights briefing information, and filing guidance.
