Inventors include Er. Madhushree M. N; Dr. M. Madhava; Dr. B. Sreenivasula Reddy; Dr. L. Edukondalu; and Dr. M. Sandhya.

The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an auger dosing system (100) and method for the uniform dispensing of viscous materials. The system includes a feed hopper(102), an auger screw assembly(104), a drive motor(106), a gearbox (108) and a control unit(110). The feed hopper stores and for gravity-feed the material into the auger screw assembly, which utilizes a helical screw flight on a central shaft within a housing to convey material via controlled displacement. The drive motor and gearbox provide rotational torque. The control unit regulates the rotational speed (RPM) and operational direction of the motor. By processing dosing parametersincluding target RPM and specific duration based on material viscosity, the control unit generates modulated signals that convert irregular gravity- assisted flow into continuous metered dispensing. The system includes monitoring flow consistency and selectively reversing the motor to provide an anticlockwise declogging rotation to maintain a uniform dispensing rate. FIG. 1
