The application for the patent was published on June 19, 2026, under issue no. 25/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT ASSISTIVE NECK SUPPORT DEVICE WITH SPHERICAL MOVEMENT HUB An assistive neck support device (100) comprises a back resting plate (101) positioned against a user's torso, a base connector (102) coupled thereto, a height adjustment mechanism (103, 104) comprising rotatably coupled linkage arms connected to the base connector (102) for vertical and horizontal reach adjustment, and a mounting plate (105) at a terminal end of the height adjustment mechanism (103, 104). A spherical movement hub (303) on the mounting plate (105) comprises a fixed outer covering (204), a moveable outer covering (201) rotating hemispherically within the fixed outer covering (204) forming a ball-and-socket kinematic pair, an X-axis movement mechanism (203) for horizontal panning, and a Y- axis movement mechanism (202) for vertical tilting, wherein the X-axis movement mechanism (203) and the Y-axis movement mechanism (202) each comprise a servo motor and internal gears translating rotational torque into angular displacement of the moveable outer covering (201).
