MUMBAI, India, Sept. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641106094 A) filed by Sri Eshwar College Engineering on September 03, 2026, for Assembly Drawing Of Automatic Self Balancing Landing Gear System.
Inventors include Dr. K. Sathish; and Sri Parasuram Tr.
The application for the patent was published on September 11, 2026, under issue no. 37/2026.
Abstract: In recent years, the need for stable, reliable, and compact landing gear systems has increased for applications requiring controlled ground support and improved balance during landing and ground operation. Conventional landing gear arrangements may provide fixed support and may have limited capability for controlled adjustment under varying loading and ground conditions. This project presents an Automatic Self-Balancing Landing Gear System, consisting of a top frame, cross member, vertical support posts, wheel assemblies, swivel caster, DC linear actuator, actuator mounting plate, and fastening elements. The actuator-based mechanism provides controlled movement of the central support arrangement, while the wheel and caster assemblies provide ground contact and structural support. The proposed assembly is designed to be compact, simple, cost-effective, and easy to fabricate, making it suitable for prototype development and academic demonstration. The integrated arrangement of structural members and actuator mechanism provides a practical mechanical solution for improving ground stability, support, balance, and controlled movement of the landing gear assembly.
