Inventor includes Parag Upendra Bhalchandra.
The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.
Abstract: ABSTRACT ARTIFICIAL NOSE DEVICE WITH ADAPTIVE MULTI-LAYER FILTRATION CARTRIDGE AND AIRFLOW DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM The present invention relates to an artificial nose device (100) and a method (200) for providing personal respiratory protection. The device (100) comprises an anatomically conforming outer shell (102) defining an internal cavity, at least one air inlet port (104), and a removable filter cartridge (106) comprising a mechanical filtration layer (106-1), an electrostatic filtration layer (106-2), an adsorption filtration layer (106-3), and at least one adaptive filtration layer (108) configured for environment-specific modification. The device (100) further includes an airflow distribution chamber (110), a plurality of airflow channels (112), a peripheral sealing member (114), and a spectacle engagement structure (116). The method (200) comprises positioning (202) the device, receiving (204) ambient air, filtering (206) air through the cartridge (106), modifying (208) filtration using the adaptive layer (108), supplying (210) filtered air via the chamber (110), and distributing (212) air through channels (112) toward the nostrils. FIG. 1 will be the reference figure.
