The application for the patent was published on July 31, 2026, under issue no. 31/2026.
Abstract: “ARTIFICIAL MAGNETIC CONDUCTOR-BACKED WEARABLE ANTENNA WITH RF ENERGY HARVESTING AND REAL-TIME IOT ALERT FOR BIOMEDICAL MONITORING” An integrated, self-powered wearable biomedical monitoring system comprises an antenna assembly having a circular inset-fed microstrip patch antenna fabricated on a first substrate and a via-free 3×3 Artificial Magnetic Conductor (AMC) array implemented on a second substrate. The first and second substrates are separated by a controlled air gap of approximately 3.5 mm to establish electromagnetic coupling, which suppresses backward radiation toward a user and enhances forward radiation directivity, and consisting of a rectification circuit, a supercapacitor and microcontroller to establish a wireless connection to transmit an alert signal to a cloud server when an abnormal physiological event is detected.
