Abstract: ABSTRACT ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE SYSTEM FOR PREDICTING PRE-DIABETES AND DIABETES USING CONTINUOUS GLUCOSE SENSOR DATA The present invention discloses a system (100) and method for predicting pre-diabetes and diabetes using artificial intelligence on continuous glucose sensor data. The system (100) comprises glucose sensor data acquisition module (110) having a wearable glucose sensor (111) configured to continuously acquire interstitial glucose measurements and patient demographic data. A data preprocessing module (120) cleans, normalises, and balances the acquired data, while a feature extraction module (130) derives predictive parameters including glucose variability, time-in-range, glycaemic excursions, and temporal trend patterns. An artificial intelligence prediction module (140) comprising machine learning algorithms (141) and deep learning networks (142) classifies individuals as normoglycaemic, pre-diabetic, or diabetic. A model evaluation module (150) validates prediction accuracy, and a prediction and risk assessment module (160) computes a personalised risk score. A user interface and alert module (170) visualises prediction outcomes and generates intervention recommendations (171), enabling early, accurate, and cost-effective dysglycaemia detection supporting preventive healthcare applications.
